Poem -

The Night Thoughts

The Night Thoughts

When I went to bed this night,
I saw a beautiful street with many lights.
Then I saw many people marching by,
As beauty as they were, I gaze with my eye.

They were dressed as if going to meet a king,
Holding in their hands different kind of things.
Marching in so grand a way,
I wished there will be no more day.

So fine a street I had never seen,
With beautiful flowers in color blue and green.
So every creature like bat and man,
Were marching in that caravan.

Their hair and feet like fire glow,
With their garments pure as snow.
Surprise with my eyes close I keep,
Till I alight in the city of sleep.
