Poem -

Tidal Wave

Tidal Wave

Tears trickle down my face,
Releasing the pain, the burning pain that cripples me.
Sadly, my peace is only temporary,
For the pain returns like a fierce tidal wave,
Once again drowning me.

My Dear Lauren,

What a powerful single quatrain, that illustrates recurring pain so beautifully.
I give you my Haiku in it's response.

As my tears trickle
Pain subsides, but all too soon
Tidal waves return

All my love,
Larry xxx

Hi sis Lauren... It is hard to keep one's head above pain when the waves of hurt keep coming back in as reminders...I have been there!  But as in life, the waves eventually recede to low tide, giving one a chance to regroup their thoughts and hopefully find a way to resolve those huge tidal waves of  pain in those reflective moments ...Sometimes it takes change to  finally see a new perspective in life....as I have seen over and over in my own life...Honest write. xo Great work.  ;) xo  sis C

Another beautiful piece, Wow friend,  You can really hit the mark, every piece I read it touch's my heart, there's so much pain that most of us hid, and your words flow so smoothly and so perfectly written. Well done my friend. much love
