Poem -

Too late

For Jax and Tara SOA⚘ also for a love that could never be, some walk alone.

Too late

I wanted a home
for us to go back to,

when you left,

without the need
for closure after
the pause,

angst to be recite'd
through the memoirs
written apart,

ink'd by our
immortal tears ,

bedew,

in ash to the
Cloisonné
urn,

yawning
slumber'd
hopes,

of having it's final request
scatter'd at the banks
of a dark river evening
exchange,

to bid,

an endmost farewell
to the frame-less
twilight mist,

of you~

scent'd to wild flowers
star fallen soak'd
in scarlet,

between
the wounds
of our love,

to a place where your lips
can still taste my breath,

and I yours~

all that was meant
to be, still remains
calm in the Vondel

warmth of you ~

pulse press'd along side
the fall of my artless
sorrow,

to once again,

be in your arms
at the closing of
a smile,

touching every slow
burning deliberate
exchange of,

 I love you ~

Wow so artistic and poignance in poetic eloquence. An admirable crafting and I liked the usage of urn, scarlet and other great phrasings. Your writings are always top notch. Kudos.
