Poem -

Weight

Weight

It’s a little bit heavy
This bird on my shoulder
Chipping so softly
Wishing someone would hold her

Its a little bit heavy
This head that I hold up
This brain full of secrets
Yet empty

Its really quite heavy
This bag on my back
A juggling man inside
Knocking for tax

Its heavy, life.
I’m light without the bags
The head and the shoulders
Everything.

Well done. A little taste of walking alone. Also shows the strength - holding your head high. Nice.
