Poem -

When Two Hearts Conspire

Twin Flames Dance in Purifying Fire

When Two Hearts Conspire

Here I am, in the unknown destiny
Swirling as an enigma dressed as me
The mirror offers no true reflection
It’s within myself, I seek connection

Where did I go so long ago in trance?
I suppose I’ll never know with romance
I free-fall, give all for love’s exposure
To hear his voice, I lose all composure

Who is it he sees, when he looks at me?
A pale spirit of who I used to be?
Perhaps the flicker of fair play exists
When true confessions from the heart persist

Though, I feel lost at the cost of love’s stand
I still hold out to feel the touch of his hand
Through mistakes, the stakes rise even higher
Yet, he will hold me, when two hearts conspire

So…
Twin flames can dance in purifying fire

A Lonely Journey

Wow, Cheerie, I'm just going to assume all your poems are my new favorites, and leave a standing line on your comment field denoting such.
What a beautiful, loving sentiment!
You know what? If anyone sees you, they could never see a pale spirit of a former you, your heart is far too bright and beautiful, and everlasting. They could only see gorgeous light.
I'm so glad to see you're again writing as the Princess of Passion, because it's so gorgeously, lovingly written, that you make us all believe in love again, and love's the one thing that matters, and should never be given up on. Your heart's amazing.
My favorite lines are:

'I free-fall, give all for love’s exposure
To hear his voice, I lose all composure'

and

'Though, I feel lost at the cost of love’s stand
I still hold out to feel the touch of his hand
Through mistakes, the stakes rise even higher
Yet, he will hold me, when two hearts conspire'

because I love the sweet longing to just find those simple, innocent pieces of love.

Gorgeous write, my friend!

Love and hugs!

Matthew.

Hi Matthew.  Thank you!  I am always drawn to the genre of love poetry...and there are so many different themes of it to write about.  sometimes, I believe things happen in life to force us to make choices and take a stand for love.  Love knows what it wants, and will not settle for any less, even when life can be a mess sometimes.  When two hearts conspire, they can stand through the trials of fire and then come out purified somehow from the experience.  I am so honored that you seem to really relate to my love poems and appreciate them as favorites.  Thank you!  😊 Love n Hugs

Awww...Well, I don't want to make you cry, Greg.  You are sensitive like I am.  I write from an emotional place that helps me process experiences as I write. I think I learn from my own writing what is truly inside my heart wanting to get out.  I am honored you pinned this.  It is a personal part of me in this poem, so to have others appreciate it means so much.  I am lucky to have so many kind friends on here.  Love n Hugs to you. ;)

Hi Rebecca.  Thank you so much!  I am so honored that you connected to what I write.  I am a very emotional writer, and it is rewarding if something I write is relatable to another on an emotional level.  I appreciate your kind support and for pinning this one. Bless you. xo ;)

I can only say your writing takes me back to the place I was five years or so ago. I can only say I identify and could not have put into words the bewilderment and loss of self you have described here Cherie...the answers do  present themselves and the spirit does heal in time...the loss of the old is the birth of the new in whatever form it takes...hugs 💕

Marion, you surprise me all the time with your discerning and almost psychic comments. You seem to see right inside my heart. We are kindred spirits I believe. Thank you for such an insightful comment. I respect you so much. Just thank you so much. Love n Hugs 💞

Your work oozes emotion my friend, it is not hard to decipher the intented 'tone' of the work...it is your talent not my psychic ability 😊💞

Thank you, Marion.  I am definitely an emotional woman, so it is natural for me to write with emotional perspective, and  you always get my heart so well. It's nice to be understood.  😊😊❤

My Dear Cherie,

Our distressed Damsel is struggling
With affairs of her broken heart
Having no choice but to separate
Her love and her had part

Only time can provide the answer
Her future in the balance
Digging deep down in her recesseses
To find the limits of her allowance

All my love,
Larry xxx

Hi dear Larry....I am having a hard time responding to your verses that wrap up so much...that last line, "to find the limits of her allowance'...indeed....sigh. Time needs to hurry up with answers....lol.  Thanks for your sentimental verses that understand.  xo Love n Hugs
