I know now what I didn't know then. I settled where things shouldn't have been.

I'm merry with you when we first meet. Not knowing we could be ment to be. Im too afraid of things that have been, could have been, and what truly is. I tell you this and then say I have got to go. Not from you from me I say, I'm not whole inside please bear with me.

As I go to cleanse my soul to right myself of wrongs untold. I get a call on that sunny day that makes my heart skip two beats. I look and see it's you for me. Wow I'm stunned cause you tell me you'll wait for me. You want to get to know this f!@&ed up soul and ask to see me when I'm ready.

As the rest of the week goes by, I realize that it's time to go. The times flown by. I'm ready to face the dreads the fears. Please doc lets check me out it's time to get outta here. Time to face lies untold, truths to fear, and lives with hearts to break. Only once I've tried can I appreciate.

I make it home to find my son left on my doorstep by my rotten past. All skin and bones this child is waiting for the life I have to give. Also I know I have you there to saveme from that depressive state. I call you and say let's meet again. Not knowing that you would spark a feel. Something I wasn't interested in.

I meet you just looking for a friend and wow my son is just glowing then. You pick him up you shush his cries, you speak with him like he's there with only you. Just the two of you inside eachother comforting eachother lost souls together. As I watch the baby glow my heart melts cause your to good to be true. Your patience your, warmth, your love inside. You give it to me for reasons I don't understand.

I wasn't looking for you but I found you. I wasn't looking for love it just came to me. You taught me that inside I can be whole to love to want to be with god. I don't believe I ever would be as whole now if I'd never found you.. I thank you for all the things you do you've done for me I will never forget..
