The Hunger-Revised (Part 7)

"You're crazy, lady," he finally said, breaking the brooding silence. Then he quickly turned around and attempted to run. Unfortunately for him, Jade wasn't going to let him slip through her fingers. She was hungry, hungry for his meaty flesh and dark warm blood. With uncontrollable hunger, she sprinted towards him and immediately tackled him to the ground. He squealed as she pinned his hands and latched onto his backside-her strength was simply unworldly.
"Please, please don't hurt me," he squealed again, inclining her to put him out of his misery.
Jade brought her lips close to his ear and whispered, "Do you have any last words before I kill you?"
"Yeah, screw you!"
Surprisingly, his harsh words didn't affect her at all. In fact, she found them rather amusing. "I'm going to enjoy killing you," she stated, chuckling menacingly.
"Screw you, you sick, twisted bitch!"
Without saying another word, Jade placed her mouth against his clammy neck and ripped into his flesh like a crazed wild animal. Her prey screamed and squirmed, desperate to stay alive-but unfortunately, the man's fate was sealed. As she drank his blood, she could feel his soul departing-making this an unforgettable kill.
Meanwhile, back in the lair. Sebastian stood frozen in dismay-a gruesome vision appeared; he saw Jade feeding on human blood. "We have a problem," he said alarmingly.
Abigail squinted at him. "What kind of problem?"
"Jade's fed."
A menacing silence followed.
When she finally spoke again, her voice was loud and harsh. "You stupid, stupid fool."
