Not even stars to shed some light,

What has happened to...

Sleeping in her bed of dirt
No more secrets
Long gone lies
Her world now fades
...

Palms are sweating, my brain is vetting, good thoughts from the bad.

All this tortured uncertainty...

I met this guy that seemed so sweet
Good looks was just an added treat
His smile could light...

No ceiling

above my head to

prevent the rain from

washing me

purifying me...

In a deep depression,
I am wedged tight.
I look around,
but there's no one in sight...
