family finished (finally)
25 portraits done as a Christmas present for my wife's Nan and grandad, nine grandchildren fourteen greatgrandchildren an their son and daughter each portrait took a good two to three hours, the border alone took six hours, but it will be worth it to see their faces :)

My Wife's Nan cried when she saw it, I only finished it at the last hour the bloody border took six hrs and I thought it would be quick DOH! I did have a shock because the poxy frame was slightly too small and we had to trim it.luckily enough I never lost any of the detail and her Nan and Granddad loved it :)
In art it is as never as quick as you think lol!! Those tears must have been worth every bit of effort John, you should be very proud :)

I had a similar reaction when I handed the portrait of baby Francois over, it feels nice to see it, but now gonna finish the tigers then write some really dark poems, just to even things up lol
