1. Submission of content
By submitting content to the COSMOFUNNEL Contest, you hereby represent and warrant that the submitted content does not and shall not infringe on any copyright, any rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party.
Any content submitted by you to the COSMOFUNNEL Contest may be available for viewing, rating, review and comment on by the public, and understand that comments or ratings with which you disagree or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with any content you submit to COSMOFUNNEL.
By submitting any content to COSMOFUNNEL, you hereby waive any privacy expectations that you may have with respect to any such content submitted by you to COSMOFUNNEL.
By submitting any content to COSMOFUNNEL, you hereby grant to COSMOFUNNEL the right to display the submitted content or other information in any form of online media, whether now known or hereinafter created.
In addition to other things, the rights granted to COSMOFUNNEL includes but is not limited to the right to resize, crop, compress, feature, affix logos to the submitted content;
You hereby agree to hold COSMOFUNNEL and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees sponsors and assigns harmless from and against, and hereby waive any right to pursue, any claims of any nature arising in connection with the inclusion in, publication via or display on any COSMOFUNNEL site, or any other use authorized under these Terms, of any content submitted to COSMOFUNNEL Contest by you.
Previously published content shall not be submitted as contest entry. This includes work that has been revised from a previously published content.
2. Nominations
Each week, the top-ranking poems will be nominated for the final round.
3. Choosing and Contacting Winners
At the end of each month, three poems will be selected from the nominees.
The contest winning authors will be contacted at their account email addresses on cosmofunnel.com.
COSMOFUNNEL will PayPal the contest prize to the email address supplied by the recipient of the winner announcement email.
Claiming of prizes requires an email response to COSMOFUNNEL from the winning account email address within 30 days of being notified.
Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize.
COSMOFUNNEL is not required to award elsewhere any prizes forfeited by the chosen winner(s).
4. Awarding Prizes
Winnings will be awarded via PayPal within seven (7) business days.
COSMOFUNNEL Contest 1st Place Winner will be:
- Awarded $100US via PayPal
- Promoted on cosmofunnel.com
- Promoted on all COSMOFUNNEL social media pages
- Featured in our monthly Contest Newsletter
COSMOFUNNEL Contest 2nd Place Winner will be:
- Awarded $50US via PayPal
- Promoted on cosmofunnel.com
- Promoted on all COSMOFUNNEL social media pages
- Featured in our monthly Contest Newsletter
COSMOFUNNEL Contest 3rd Place Winner will be:
- Awarded $30US via PayPal
- Promoted on cosmofunnel.com
- Promoted on all COSMOFUNNEL social media pages
- Featured in our monthly Contest Newsletter
Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings.
All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, and all such additional costs that may be incurred.
Management, employees and families of COSMOFUNNEL are prohibited from winning any prizes awarded by COSMOFUNNEL.
COSMOFUNNEL reserves the right to alter contest terms at anytime.
