Modern art - As an up and coming artist of the name of Moon cow, I am delighted to be selling my first lot of art, I painted the art work in the street so that I would get a response to what I was doing, as a sort of test to who my audience would be, interestingly people around the age bracket of 65-80, where less than impressed with the modern art, and one man even refers to the work as “a load of old rubbish, and proclaimed he would prefer a picture of a dog, aside the negative response it was a response none the less. but at the other end of the spectrum kids around the ages of 6-12 took delight in the colourful paintings this is because children lack a certain perceptual barrier that grows as we get older, as parents around the ages of 30-40 seemed almost half interested in the paintings, so the conclusion from what responses I gathered is that although it is a modern twist on art and seems sporadic and misguided to the trained mind but the mind that is more free in the lower age bracket created a positive response and positive cognitive stimulation is in fact very beneficial to that persons mood, I may even entertain the notion that theses painting could even induce creativity, intelligence, and in certain environments positive behaviour, although there has been studies on the emotional effects of art stimulation in the old, quantitive analysis reveals that there was significant improvement of the positive mood parameters in old people when they conducted this test.
