"My artwork takes a critical view of how women are portrayed in today’s society. By deconstructing the female identity I question whether women form an identity of self, or rather construct their persona based primarily on societal expectations. Through the recreation and exaggeration of familiar visual images that one might find in the media, my goal is to challenge the viewer to find the inner narrative of the female psyche"
