Cherie has spoken of you so often I feel like I know you (to an extent) already. She speaks SO highly of you that I thought that perhaps she was exaggerating a bit.Ā But, after seeing this 'most captivating' piece of work I see that she was not.Ā I come from a family of artists, from which, I am the only writer, the rest are fine artists or graphic artists but they all express themselves through images created by their own hands in some way.Ā I only mention this because I want you to know how much I appreciate art in general, and I have to say your work is truly impressive......I can see the blade strokes in this one and the other touches within.....VERY difficult to do that effectively ~ Bravo!!.....an absolute pleasure kind sir.....I am SO glad that Cherie steered me here......and I am so pleased about your friendship with her.......you make her smile....and that is SUCH a good thing....she could use more of it!!......Apologies for rambling on like this......I am just so VERY pleased to know you, albeit a cyber-aquaintance......thank you so much for sharing your gifts Dennis.......I am your newest fan!!......enjoyed your paintings very much!!........LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......Tony Ā : )

My apologies for the late reply, Tony. A pleasure to make your acquaintance. Very kind of you to come here and appreciate my work.
I am touched and moved by your generous appreciation and friendliness. No need to apologize about 'rambling', it is acutally one of my faults and sometimes I have to learn to 'shutup'.
I deliberately chose that title in light of the stupid agenda that has been going around of using so many different gender pronouns or where schools are dressing boys into girls and girls into boys. I suspect a hidden agenda here by powerful elites. I think women should be celebrated as a woman - the female energy - and not be ashamed or consider it demeaning if man opens the door for her. The male and female energy are to be celebrated and each have equal power and grace.
The fact is I only started art and painting in 2015 hence why most of my earlier works are what I consider to be crap. The 5 years was for me a learning process of trying to get to grips of learning about value, colour, edge and drawing. This latest one, āI Am Woman ā The Female Principleā is one where I felt I am just beginning to get it togetherā¦ hopefully!.
And yes, portraiture is the hardest to master ā the reason why I was at the beginning focusing on it more. However, I wish to turn to do more figure works.
