Japanese Cranes

Just a few weeks ago one of my parents came up with the fantastic idea to make a suncatcher of a Japanese Crane. That same week all of a sudden she was diagnosed with cancer. A while ago I had the idea to make a standing suncatcher and decided to make that one with the cranes.

It became a special project as a give away to my parents. To help lighten their day and as a thank you for their support and enthusiasm!

This turned out to be a great centre piece sculpture. But because of all the beads it becomes a beautiful suncatcher when put on the windowsill. The candle lights it stunningly wherever they will end up deciding to place it.
