Junkyard Jesus

This is my 5th drawing and my 2nd attempt at using colored pencils.  This picture came from another inspiration...had to put it in color on paper.  It tells the story of all of us who have so much JUNK-STUFF in our lives that distract us from the TRUTH.  The sins of this world start to pile up....but there is one who can and wants to take it all...and set you free.  In the Old Testiment the Temple had many gates one of the gates was called "Beautiful"...which led into the courtyard and into the HOLY of HOLIES where God is.  Actually when Jesus walked this Earth his first HEALING miracle happened at the gate called Beautiful.  In my picture I put a gate and if you notice the gate is held up by the cross beam of Jesus' cross.  There are other signs of what the junk truly is....on the old licence plates found on the side and on the truck.  The other side of the path, is green pastures...with sheep, once lost, now found.  Jesus meets you were you are...on this side of Paradise...and He will bring you in...it is only through Him.  Like a tree planted by a river that feeds the roots.
