Moment in time

This is an abstract piece in acrylics of a cactus on a windowledge in a room with the light on and the night falling with rain on the outside. It took a little while but I was pleased with the result. I tried to get the effect of a glance as one is in a room and perhaps turning. It is a painting of nothing in particular at a random angle. Just a glimpse at reality. It was the first time I attempted rain drops on a window and I'm pleased with how it all turned out. It measures 100cm x 70cm.
