Peace on the River

Imagine floating on a sun dappled river with no burdens weigh you down.
Floating peace on the water.
I tried to make sun dappled light on water, but I'm ignorant of techniques to achieve that look. Any suggestions? ( I took the photo on my sun dappled/tree shadowed deck hoping it would enhance my attempt).
