Thank you so much. I started with Charcoal, doing animals. I do not have any to share because my friends and family wanted them lol, but I wanted color in my life too. It's fun to explore and try new things.Β
It gives me pleasure to share with everyone, and perhaps bring a little light or a smile to someones day. Thank you.
This is simply beautiful and you are so talented not only in poetry but art too. I love to draw with pencil and charcoal and particularly elephants in fact I sent one to Tony Taylor as a gift and thankfully he loves it, he said he`s going to put it on here with a poem to go with it one day. I love the colours you have used and the blending is just wonderful you are very successfully gifted and I hope you put more on here too as I would love to see them. I have never tried painting I just draw with mainly charcoal but I start off with pencil in case it goes wrong, it usually takes me all day to do them though. Well done for this piece and I will now look at your other one. Larry Ran has a cartoon of Tigger and the mouse on his site that I sent him and he wrote a poem that describes mine and Geoff`s love story to a T`. I hope you like it, I`ve also drawn lots of cartoon characters for my grandchildren`s bedroom`s too. Well done sweetie it really is beautiful.
What an honor Georgina Thank you. I've always written, since I was a little girl, and I drew, as little girls do, but I didn't really explore it until I grew up. I happened to take a class in college and loved it. Like you, I started in charcoals and eventually wanted to explore paints. It's fun... lol, and each piece of art, tells me something about myself.Β
I'm so honored and blessed with the welcome here at Cosmo's, and I will pop over to look at your elephant piece. Would love to see more. :)Β
