A Soul's Courier to a Dream

My first tattoo... It has various meanings. I'll start with the first. My mother died when I was 8, and she was vastly into Buddhism, in fact, she met the Dahli Lama. The Raven in some cultures carries the soul to the after life, and the dream catcher brings in good dreams and energies. To me, the Raven is bringing my mother's soul into the dreamcatcher. Not only that, I love nature and mythology, so to blend the two was perfect for me.
