A ballerina performs a Cambré under a single spotlight on a darkened stage. Is she alone? Does she have a suitor watching her? Is she performing to do her best for a judge? Or is she alone, after hours, just perfecting her moves?
 CambrĂ©Â is a classical ballet term meaning âarched.â When a dancer is doing cambrĂ©, their body is bent from the waist and stretching backward or sideways with the head following the movement of the upper body and arms.
This artwork measure 16"x16" and comes framed to Guild of Framers Archival Standard (the frame adds another five or six inches or so to the artwork).
