The things I find beautiful
- my most recent completionĀ
- acrylic and completed over a series of months. The original painting consisted of the same background but a giant eye in the centre, after realising it was a waste of a large canvas I switched and covered it up with something I found more beautiful and appreciable.
- it's done by palette knife and fingers only and is textured, when one runs their fingers across the canvas they will hopefully feel every emotion attached to each slash of my palette knife against the canvas.
- the person you see is a random grouping of things that I find make a person beautiful, this is my idea of perfection when it comes to being shallow. The hair is split into two halves because I couldn't decide between ginger and black, both beautiful and favoured colours of mine. The skin is pale and the under-eyes dark. The lips are large and pouty with a defined cupids bow, every person I've fallen in love with has had beautiful lips whether thin or thick they all had beautiful protruding cupids bows. The eyes, big, sad and blue are reflective of everyone I've loved so far, many of them having bright blue eyes.Ā
- piece would be an excellent conversation starter to occupy a lonely wall
- the character you see within the painting I've name angayla and their gender depends on what you see when you look at themĀ
- 600 aud. 75cm wide x 105.5cm high
