This Colourful And Majestic World We Live In

From when I first started this piece to when I finished it were two entirely different images and ideas I had in mind.. But I love it, and that's what I love about art, it can take you to a whole other place, just drawing and creating and making up things as we go. I am a huge gypsy at heart, I love to travel and experience the world. So I guess that's where my main inspiration was drawn from with this piece, a globe outline with detailed mandalas all doodled by different coloured pens. The background is a mixture of smudged oil paints symbolising the deep blue ocean which surrounds us. A lot of patience and time were put put into this piece, I was super happy with the energy and vibe it created for the room once finished.
