- The Trace of Afi - At the Cap Frontier War.
This artistic composition is made with ink, red charcoal & middle finger on the paper. It tells the story of a South-East African girl and a German photographer.
After an unusual saga concerning the crossroads being haunted by the Dutch and the Gunnukwebe clans – according to what a European Settler named Zack Blanche says to Afi’s family about what happened in 1789 and what exactly caused the second war; Afi’s family decides to give up their land due to the pre-colonial body of myths and ignorance within the horn of Xhosa. Though the German photographer decides to picture the true beauty of the Bantu people, another contretemps take over the Cape. – Hans Tondereau
