True Colors

True Colors

This is a pastel drawing I did of Robin Williams. I absolutely loved him and still sad to see he's gone. I wanted to show life fading away. Life is full of colors and as depression takes over, life turns to black and white. And slowly we fade away. We all have had something that takes us to dark moments and I wanted to really feel his emotions. The chalk powder coming down from his eyes is actually the blue falling off. This piece is definitely meant to be seen in person to truly captivate the emotions but hope you enjoy :)
