The Unbelievable Reflection

A self portrait I took after painting my face. Symbolises the sense of loneliness, with cracks of imperfection through the eyes of a perfectionist, hating what she sees. (This is not a personal matter, just an issue or idea that people tend to have in their minds, and I am trying to express that). I am also showing the beauty of imperfection through my work. 

Inspired by the lyrics in Leonard Cohen's song Anthem, 

"Ring the bells that still can ring 
Forget your perfect offering 
There is a crack in everything 
That's how the light gets in."
