VXD Overman

This semiotic-historical creation of mine focuses on my own Overman as embodying the Ekpyrosis itself, that is, the ultimate stage in the Stoic Cosmos as bearing strong analogies with the notion of the Big Crunch. The Overman stands inside and gathers force from a total specularity occasioned by the two opposite Mirror-Shields, wherein my own Return of Power prevails. The anagram VXD reads VINDEX XYSTO DÆMON, or "the Avenger Demon (in the Greek sense of "ΔΑIΜΩΝ") through the Xystus (an ancient portico with columns, instrumental ablative)". It refers to my composition VELTRVM, and translates also, in Roman numerals, as "Five, Ten, Five Hundred", having thus a precise prophetic-historical meaning, akin to the one in Dante's Purgatorio, XXXIII, 43. As to demeanour, references may be noticed to the Roman Military Crisis of the Third Century (A.D. 235-284), and to emperor Probus († A.D. 282) in particular.
