Winter on the Window

One year I saw my mom paint our front window of our house, and of course I thought it was the coolest thing right? So this past Christmas season I decided to try my hand at using paint in more depth than just finger painting. However it didn't completely turn out that way. I brushed white for the back ground; using a brush of course but while it was still wet I was able to add other colors to it and oddly enough I used my hands most of the time while "sculpting" how I thought it should look. Now I understand that mountains and trees and stuff really doesn't pertain to Christmas, but if you think about it for a minute, it does. I'll tell you why; it's because on Christmas you expect to see snow and snow just makes everyone happy when they see it. Well outside of course and their inside enjoying hot chocolate with family, watching "cheesy" Christmas movies by a fire place and a Christmas tree all lit up. But in some places it doesn't always snow for Christmas or maybe not at all, so for Us even though I am in Canada it brought us joy to see the "ideal" snowy scene on our window, and for us it just simply felt like Christmas :).
