Poem -
Maybe unique
In the end its the same old
story
You'll tell yourself you'll
make it
And you do
Wearing the same old body
Because there's nothing
else
No other model
There's only you
So you'll tell yourself you're
different
Something special
Maybe unique
Untill you find out that
You're just one more
One version of a zillion
more
All clones rotating round
A planet's core
And you'll crash
Because everybody crashes
And you'll tell yourself your
story's worse
That not one soul
Has been so cursed
Then it dawns on you
We're all the same
Each faking it through all
the pain
Same tragedy
Out doing the rounds
Again

I really like this Marion. Kind of sums up fairly accurately the way it is for us earthlings down here held down by gravity on this spinning ball of rock etc. I think it’s kind of sad though when people out there don’t realize how unique and special they are and the positive effect their life has on others. Personally I think that the vast majority of people around the world are just basically decent, honest, hardworking family oriented people.
I kind of agree with you Greg. It's our systems and organisations that are evil but then who created or allowed those systems to be created and to rule us. Mankind. The very people who suffer at their hands. I can only conclude that humans are a very stupid species. I wrote this after watching a doc on Tuams which used to function as a mother and home in Ireland. I am in a black hole and maybe you understand that black holes are selfish places. I cried and cried because all our story's are the same, regardless of subject matter. We all suffer x
This is spot on! Things happen to people ... all over the world, all of the time... and we react, pretty much, in the same kind of ways. We laugh at things we find funny and we cry at things we find sad. At the deeper level though, we bear our suffering differently and that is the thing I find most interesting. Some people find faith while others lose it, if they can even find it, that is. Some people implode while others explode. Some people end their lives while some find a great need to help others. In a volatile world of uncertainties and sudden change one thing is for certain... we can all fake our smiles. xx

It operated as a mother and baby home in Ireland run by nuns. Such suffering. Yeah, heard about the nun thing. Awful. Evil. The arrival of new life is never a sin, and nor is the begetting of it! It's just terrible. And these are supposed to be Christian people? If they are truly Christian it makes me glad I changed my path.

It's not just the Tuam thing though is it...it's history on repeat all through the ages Tina. It really is the same old story in a multitude of settings and that underlying force of evil and injustice is still with us today....mostly in our political systems and every other man made 'system' ...but who makes the systems...makes them possible...mankind...we, the individuals. Life on an eternal loop...we don't and never will or progres spiritually ...this is what depresses me. Well...it doesn't take much lol. I'm off to see if you have posted and I truly loved your book by the way...keep on with your zillion projects you have definitely got what it takes ...and more ❤
You are right, the few powerful people that there are (few as in context of world population) are running their own agenda in the guise of working for the people. Some countries are luckier than others, of course, but at the end of the day we are all at the mercy of those at the top and when they go crazy .... as Putin has ... it's god help us all!
