the morning sun

I was hanging out the
washing
When I realised a fact
It just dawned on me
Like the morning sun
And the sun always
Comes back

That in the dark I'm waiting
For you to come home too
And I was quite surprised
Cos I hadn't known
That this is what I do

And reality can have it's say
It can rage, deny, refuse to
play
But reality don't live my
day
And my heart can't see another
Way

And does this make me
crazy... well,
I don't care if it is so
Cos mad thoughts hold a
lot of hope
It's reality that choke's
