Good Sheep

You may thinkĀ
to yourself that
You did nothing wrong

Making plans
to yourself
Slowly ambling along.

But twas not good for us
we've had not one night's sleep
Since you strayed with the flockĀ
to the pens of good sheep

Whatever possessed you to take
yourself off
Did you think about us?
Did you worry one jot...

Leaving us searching in heaven's
fine fields
Praying you've found a safe bed
and a meal

Whatever possessed you
To vanish this way
Just you wait till we find you
We have so much to say!!!

Being Me

Lol...that's cos you love him soooo much!

When my kids were little we moved house to a place where there was a small nature reserve ( that's the best way to describe it). My second son who was about 11 at the time and my youngest who was 7 made friends with a little lad along the road. They all disappeared! They new the rules, not to go off anywhere without asking first. They were gone for hours and hours. There was a deep gravel pit not far-away and my anxiety hitĀ  stratospheric levels! I was about to call the police when Rob found them! Seeing them I threw my arms around them and then wham! I told them off big time. I said they were grounded until they were 18 lolĀ  it's the love and worry and anxiety all mixed together! Xx

Being Me

Yes, you are right! Once a mother always a mother!! They are always your babies!Ā  Grief is something we all react bothĀ  differently and the same to. The way you grieve is connected to the way you love. The more you love the harder grief is for you to deal with. That's my opinion anyway. I know the love you haveĀ  for your son is monumental so, therefore, the grief is going to be too and that's a horrendous thing to deal with. šŸ’”Ā  xx
