Pathway to the Gods

Pathway to the Gods

I walked along this trail
To the pathway to the Gods
Under the pale skiesΒ
Along the ocean. Past
The olives and grapes
Past the flowers.

I stand here on the trail
Pathway to the Gods
Under the pale skies
Looking out at the ocean
Watching the sail boats
Sail by and thinking
Of the tale of the whale
Pathway to the Gods.

Greg, a most neat and tidy write filled with perhaps your good memories and colourful ones blended in, for good effect.
A real journeyman's poem and dramatically written with Pathways to the Gods repeated to reinforce said venture and perhaps said memories.
It is good to see you writing quality and from your heart.
Enjoyed reading this very much, and now we both need a holiday.
Thanks for writing, sharing and imagineering my friend.
Wishing you well.Β Β
