Poem -

Inking Eternity

I could maybe write forever but
forever's not enough
To express the tattered worlds
you've left behind
I could probably ink eternity and
still there would be more
To say about the beauty that
you held within your core

I could paint a million pictures
with the colours of your heart
And still nothing can ease a thing
And still it's ripped apart

I could write that grief is endless
that no star can now exist
That the universe is too small to
contain how much you're missed

That the sun and moon are violent
with the longing for your song
I could say all this and still son
We'll stay dead and you'll stay gone

Melancholy most certainly, but beautifully expressed through-out and most touching.
Hugs to you my friend,
Shaun. x.
