Spilt milk

Spilt milk

A Day at the beach along
Silky white sands the smell
Of the ocean put me in a spell
I fell in love with this day
Not a day to cry over spilt milk

The sun was shining the birds
Were singing not a day to cry
Over spilt milk when the skies
Look like silk with white streaks

The sun is setting as a wave
Comes in it’s a day to save
In my mind I find it’s not a day
To cry over spilled milk.

Our dear friend Greg,

We love this poem.  It says everything.  We are going on our first vacation in years, and we are going to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where Linda once lived over thirty years ago.  Thank you for giving us an early preview of what's to come.

All our love,
Linda and Larry xxx
