silence between
i saw daughter
sitting with stars
i sat with her quietly
silence between
she turned to me asking
how far were the stars
and whether
god made them
and what did it mean
i saw daughter
crying at stars
searching the planets
that hid there between
i asked why she cried
under light from the stars
i'm crying for brother
death trapped
beyond Mars
