A.I. Good Or Bad

AI...bad bad evil. This is what it will mean for mankind...just a feeling x

Hey JP and a spectacular food for thought AI write and you also mention the 'bomb' for we live in fear of it today.
And with regards to your question, the AI jury is still out.
Personally, if it soon develops a cure for cancer and all diseases, then there's no question, but I would keep it at arms length from any military systems.
For didn't the American Air Force around six months ago have an issue involving one of its pilots in flight and an AI system they were testing on the ground, on I believe, an automated landing system which had control of an aircraft in flight, then began over-riding and refusing to follow its programming and endangering said pilots life who in the end landed safely.
They never said if they turned it off for that pilot to land.
And I am not a fan of AI generated poems which began surfacing about a year ago and are alas, everywhere today.

This poem raises some important issues & questions. I think AI has the potential for both good & bad--a double-edge sword like all technology. But it will surely create more problems and be used in an evil way.
