Light on

I too know the betraying sharpness the
Terrible eye can bring with ordinary,

Beautiful things.

I uncover earth to meet God's soaring sky,

Mostly at the feet of clouds

That hide from us the terrible sunlight.

I'm coming out of storms. I'm barely me

Most times.

I too know the betraying sharpness is lesser

Than the eye can shed light on.

Wow Mr Rory, so much emotion and vision of pain and triumph, a magnificent metaphor for fighting against all the odds to come out alive and even better that before. Superb my dear friend. I could literally see you flying through that storm. 🌹

And another wow!! This is magnificent R
really...no bullshit. I actually love every line
and the words you've chosen..and also the way you've set it out. Its almost describes an existential crises in words. There is terrific threat and power in the whole thing...the fight between light and dark...the unseen enemy. Ordinary Beautiful Things.
never ours to keep. Course may have read it all wrong but I'm.keeping my version. x
