Poem -

Wild god.

Wild god. A star in the stories
diffused in the stained glass
Annoited in glory and owning the
wind
Wild god. Too perfect and loving
and not here and not here
My soul cannot find you and I am
in sin. Wild me.
wild hair and wild mind, I wail on
your round earth I claw at your
round moon my heart can't
Forgive you
You broke me too soon.
So perfect and loving and not
here and not there, my lips form
the words but
You can't have the prayer.

This is far more than what it say's on the label .. not only poemed to perfection (note to self) hold the flattery, she won't believe me .. but .. it is so full of symbolism Keith Moon, Cozy Powell & John Bonham would be turning in their respective graves .. (another note to self) don't go on too long, she won't like it .. (another note to self) remember the small g will always deliver the coup de grace ..

Very impressive poetry M & truly .. (note to M) THe eNd foR nOw

Being Me

Wild God.  Yes! The title grabs the reader perfectly. But are these words the mutterings from a wild poet? No, they are not. These words are well chosen and wonderfully crafted into a poem. I think, perhaps, we all wrestle with the age old problem — "Is there a god? I don't think there is. There has to be. Surely? I want there to be a God. I need there to be a God. So where is God?" (looks up to the heavens and calls, "God?")

IF there is a God ( note the big IF) I think it is a truly wild God...or godess.

"So perfect and loving and not
here and not there, my lips form
the words but
You can't have the prayer."

Oh those lines! What a rebel you are!

LOVE THIS POEM!!

Sad write Marion. I often wonder what humanity’s god was up to for billions of years before we arrived? Did humanity’s god make us? Or, did we make her/him/it?

You have all the right in the world to be a nihilist dear Marion. I don't have an answer,
just too many questions. Sending you lots of love, B

I have been reading Nietzsche, so the word nihilist came to my mind, since he is one of the greatest ones. No, I don't  think you are, Marion.
You have too many questions, like the rest of us, and none of us can ever comprehend what you're going through. Yes, wild, wild God.
Love, B

Hi B...I've not read him yet...is he readable?... as I can't stand fancy language and beating around the bush. I have read much that points to his work and ideas. Questions ...yes, mostly we are all kept too busy to ponder much of anything
then when we need to ponder, find ourselves in an eternity of questions. I am actually hugely spiritual... which is probably why i argue SO much with a god...
I don't believe in lol. Huge hugs to you and yours X
