Poem -

thumb print. Of a moon.

could've asked god
to join me
Down on the shore

where waves
crashed and pounded
the sand.  right before.

My dry shoes
~~~~~~~~~
Where night curled
the fading
thumb print
Of a moon
and wind
Unleashed torments
and wailings
And.  Doom.
And
could've asked god
I suppose.
M ~
Hello M...
It's probably good you didn't ask...
God has a sense of humor...
Chances are your shoes would have been wet...
I really don't want to think it only happens to me...
Sometimes, I feel like I'm in a One Person Club...
Then someone comes a long and tells me nope as they shake off their shoes...
Great write!
Thank you for sharing...
there is little warmth here yet I feel no sense of anything missing .. more a resistance to accept what isn't .. yet when I look at it another way .. it briefly reads and looks rather more inviting .. indeed, beautiful x
