and... SIGH...

He woke up exhausted
so tired 
So tired

beaten + battered
And broken

he sighed

rubbed red rimmed eyes 
which had cried in the night
Not for himself but
For those whose sad plight

will make the headlines

shortly...

tis never true tales
of our hero's
nor saints .. which
just goes to
show by and large,
we get what
we deserve nowadays ..
