Poem -

The X In The Mas

No point in asking
I already know
When the X in the Mas
Lost its god holy glow

When Hello Mam
Love you

Was not ever again

So I already know
That Christmas died then

When the six
In the twelfth

Became end to a world

When each Christmas
Now black

Is a bastard attack
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No point in asking
I already know
When the tree got tossed out
Onto white fucking snow.
I'm not much one for Christmas myself these days. Life happens as you grow older I guess. đź–¤
Dear Marion, I completely understand Christmas is a bastard to you.
If I was in your shoes, I too would call it a bastard. I just wish that you find
a bit of peace among all the debris.
Love,  B
This is a loss I cannot fathom (we chose to remain childless) but I can imagine the pain from these words. For different reasons, hoeever, I have also never been a fan of Christmas. Hope for your sake December is gone soon... Hold on...
I read this from the perspective of Palestinian genocide, if christmas spirit can't stop it then it deserves this hard-hitting poignant poem. Kudos!!
