Poem -

keys

he sits and spins with fervour
for many days and nights
a weaven woven choking web
that binds him up so tight

a coffin case so silky dark
he cannot breathe or see
the tiny single thread he holds
is key to set him free

Oh, Marion, this’s the saddest poem my eyes’ll read. I wish the thread becomes a thread of light so he can see the love in your eyes. And he’ll never be afraid
because he can see you.  B

A bug caught In a spider web, absolutely wonderfully written with a brilliant rhyme too. 🌹

Very good: concise & well-crafted. A great metaphor for life.
