Awaking the Dormant Loves

Awaking the Dormant Loves

The poet’s heart bleeds,
then melts like white snow--he can feel it--
together with hundreds of unloved souls.
Oh, but how little he knows
that love is already there
it already dwells in his heart
and will never leave him,
never from him will depart.
Ah, how marvellous would be
if his eyes could see
that love did not leave him,
it’s just sleeping with the seeds
--under the snow.

…and always a pleasure to hear from a poet who paint the skies with a velvet brush. I am most pleased, Tony.

The seeds of love is the cryptic fate of the mundane life for everyone. Someone can sprout this perfectly and feel pleasure in this life. Superb loving poem penned.
