Lion

At least once in a lifetime
Everybody wants to be a lion.

Especially if they're more

A pussycat.

Head of the pack.

Don't want to be preyed upon.

Fast moving, stealthy,

Sharp witted as a tack

And invoking adrenaline for others to run.

But they won't get far.

People enjoy a little fear.

In small doses it may appear

Useful for some.

To run sometimes means to survive.

But a lion stays and fights.

Well I'm a tiger so yeh, such a brilliant peice of reflection, some have no blood for being brave others have too much, and then there are those like myself that keep the lion inside until it is needed. 🦁 Such a wonderful theme and write.
