Poem -

Upon a time

Once you moved the light in the sky
To a point where my heart overflowed.

Ā I kept dreams in the glow of your eyes

And curled your mouth up in a smile.

Ā

Once life itself took on the night

And the things that crawled fell fromĀ

Our iky skins to naw clumsily on the floor

And the monsters then that were

Ā

Too aware of us dispersed

And fear in our hearts knew it's placeĀ

No more.

Of course back then love was all.
Ā
