Indomitable Heart

Indomitable Heart

When you’ve already walked to hell and back
and still can see flowers under your feet,
you’re a remarkable gardener
tending your indomitable spirit
with your heart’s every beat.

When you go to sleep
closing your eyes with all love replete,
--how inspiring you still see the world
with gentle eyes!
as you know, even in the midst
of those hours of darkness and cold
you cultivated your heart
and took care of your troubled soul.

And if your heart was broken into a hundred pieces
and you can still love with a part missing,
look in the mirror and you’ll see
how  marvellous an unbreakable spirit can be.

Hello B...

Not everyone can walk through Hell and come out smiling?

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

That’s right Sparrowsong Ice Queen, not everyone can come out smiling, but they can see how unbreakable their spirits are for just keeping the head above the water,
for having the courage to get out of bed in the morning.
Thank you for being part of the
thoughts. Keep well, all the best.  B

Oh how these words inspire me B... even though I know there is not always a way back. Beautiful poetry x

it’s not an easy way back, Marion. But even you wore a
floral dress once, and therein lies the beauty of it. And the meaning.
You know what I mean.
Thank you for being here.  B

Hate to burst your bubble B you lovely soul ...it was just a write. I've honestly not cared about clothes since, if I bother even to dress. Some things change every arom of your being. Sadly I now believe

'if you're not yet broken its because you've not yet experienced the thing that will finally break you completely'

Many hugs X

What I mean here dearest Marion…
To me, its a metaphor. When I say you’re wearing your floral dress, you’re having calm & peaceful moments. I wish that you have more of those moments, please wear your floral dress every now & then. The biggest hug.💙

The basic thing I learned is taking the helping hand to tend to the garden. On my own I would have been broken. For me - again next to my wife - Cosmo is a place to find the helping hand in words like the above, they encourage me to get up again once more. ❤️

Encouraging you? John, I think
you have tons of courage and a resilient spirit on your own. You already have an unbreakable  heart, and every time you get up
you see it. I thank you for your nice words, they really touch me.
Stay well,
Bernadete
