The dreaming beloved

Elara

The dreaming beloved

Every night, when the moon was high in the sky, she crawled out of drawing and began her journey to her beloved. She met her lover whom he called his night flower and she called him her star prince. They danced on the moonbeams and whispered secrets in each other's ears. The star prince told her stories about distant worlds and impossible adventures. Elara listened breathlessly and felt more alive than ever before. She knew that she could only see him in her dreams, but his presence filled her heart with a deep joy. One night, when the moon was full and the night was silent, the star prince whispered: Elara, my night flower, I will always be with you, even when you wake up. Our love is stronger than time and distance. Elara smiled and kissed him softly. I will never forget you, she whispered back. As long as I dream, I will cherish you and our nightly adventures. And so it went on, night after night. Elara and the star prince met in their dreams, and their love blossomed like a magical flower that only opened at night.
