the leaved tea
Had I found time
To have read the leaved tea
Years ago Years
would you still be with me
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Perhaps not
I am no sage or seer
did not forsee Death until Death
it rolled near
still, I have such time now
To moan into cups
To rage into steam
To choke on each sup
to remember how you
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
how you loved tea so much.

Oh Marion .... if only! I remember when I was very little, my mum showing me how to read the tea leaves. I remember being utterly mesmerised by it. I can remember the way she did it but not how. I know what you mean, though. Tarot is more my thing.
Wouldn't life be different if we had a heads up allowing us to change things ...
Like you I like any mystical.and magical. Do you read Tarrot? Me I just cut out the middle man and talk straight to the ghosts. When they answer I convince myselff I'm just psychic and not mad

No tea leaves could have told the future, your poetry as ever dearest Marion is full circle with a start a middle and an end, your emotions are heartfelt by me always, you know what to do when you need to do it. I'm a fan of plate throwing, myself. 🌹

There is truth in what you say... I look at my furniture sometimes and it comforts me to know my son once touched it... I could never get rid of my rickety coffee table ...I remember all the times I told him get his feet off it lol 😄 thanks so much NE x
