Colours of the Great Oak

As my summer now turns to autumn
I reflect on the warmth
and beauty that has surrounded meĀ
and very soon, when the bright green leaves from this magnificent oakĀ
turn a dusky shade of pink and orangeĀ
well, I shall watch them change gracefullyĀ
becauseĀ there's nothing more joyful
to see than that, at least for me.Ā

Seasons
In life
I'm having myĀ turn of change of seasonsĀ
I just call it growing up
Yes this is a poem that can be read many ways, both autumn of nature and autumn of onse self, I'm almost 51 and very proud, thank you dear Rory. š š¹
I tell you this that I've never mentioned to you. When I very young I was dyslexic.
I think I might still read things in many ways because of thisĀ
You are a true poet in every way, to have such a passion for words as a dyslexic is on another level, I always believed you were special and today you have let me in. Kudos my dear friend, thank you for opening up.Ā š¹Ā
You have great insight to what I've dedicated my life to. I had to think about your comment and yes, yearly on in life I followed my heart stayed true to my nature and did the best with what I was given. Thank you my friendĀ
Our summer will be a very hot one. Just like yours was up north this year. Nice Write. J.
