Colours of the Great Oak

As my summer now turns to autumn
I reflect on the warmth
and beauty that has surrounded me
and very soon, when the bright green leaves from this magnificent oak
turn a dusky shade of pink and orange
well, I shall watch them change gracefully
because there's nothing more joyful
to see than that, at least for me.

Seasons
In life
I'm having my turn of change of seasons
I just call it growing up
Yes this is a poem that can be read many ways, both autumn of nature and autumn of onse self, I'm almost 51 and very proud, thank you dear Rory. 💜 🌹
I tell you this that I've never mentioned to you. When I very young I was dyslexic.
I think I might still read things in many ways because of this
You are a true poet in every way, to have such a passion for words as a dyslexic is on another level, I always believed you were special and today you have let me in. Kudos my dear friend, thank you for opening up. 🌹
You have great insight to what I've dedicated my life to. I had to think about your comment and yes, yearly on in life I followed my heart stayed true to my nature and did the best with what I was given. Thank you my friend
Our summer will be a very hot one. Just like yours was up north this year. Nice Write. J.
It was a weird one a lot of rain and yes overwhelming temperatures it's more tropical here in Italy we no longer have four seasons. In London too it was incredibly hot. 🌹 Thank you.
