Guenevere

The lady with green eyes wanders
From room to room at night
You can sometime hear her weeping
No one comes to comfort her
AT the garden wall she stands
Waiting for her love and King
She is lost in things she hasn't said
Recalling days spent like dust

Your poem reads like an Emily Brontë descriptive poem and that takes
great skill to pull off.
A real treasure to find and read and a beautiful poem you have woven here.
Full honors to you and richly deserving.
Thank you for sharing and will follow you from now on.
All good things to you and your sublime imagination.
And welcome to Cosmo.
Thank you for the lovely welcome and such high regard? Thank you again I always loved Emily Bronte.
Jane Eyre, king Arthur and his Guenevere who really got a bad rap in the stories,.

Welcome to Cosmo!
From Fairy Tale to Real life?
What Man wants to be a King?
They should be of certain Character unless you're more into the DEI thing?
We might have to hurry and save the ones we can...
Well before we lose more in the Bikini Section for themselves...
We have to save the Dresses?
Great write!
Thank you for sharing...

Welcome to Cosmo, Susan!
What a charming write, sad,
yet beautifully expressed. One
just wants to give Guenevere a
hug.
Greetings,
Bernadete
Thank you I really appreciate your read ad comment.
I know that's how I feel too. :)
TThanks for reading
Such sadness in this poem! I get the feeling this poem is not just Guinivere but perhaps any woman who has ever been wronged or felt wronged (or, indeed, done wrong) in love. I love this poem... and welcome to Cosmo x
Thank you The story of Guenevere and Arthur has not been told yet. She is a queen wrongly accused and a wedge between her and her true love Arthur. My take anyway. Thank you for reDing
