The Great Expression
So I'm not completely sure what kind of dreams this is intended for, something where I slept and dreamt of something wild, or something that I dream to one day have or do. My last submission was something wild that I dreamt, in this submission I'll tell you, the viewer, what I've longed to do with my life since I was at the age of 12.
Ever since I was in 7th grade I've wanted to own my very own business however I wasn't sure what that business was until I was about 15. The business I decided I want to own is an Indie Cafe, half the building would consist of stage, and a screen. The stage would be for someone or a group to come up and recite poetry, plays, rap, or sing, or tell a story, hell! If they want they can come up and talk about their day, I just want them to have an outlet for their passion a place like Cosmofunnel, except a physical version. The screen would be for people who have made a short film or even a full on movie and I would play things I've done as well. Once again it would serve as an outlet.
As for the cafe portion, I do have a small passion for making sandwiches and hot coco, so I'd put that in, as well as cold beverages and other small meals.
I'd call the the building itself "The Great Expression" but because I like cheesy and punny things I'd call the cafe "The Great Expresso"

Hey Dana, first off love the idea, sounds terrific...I'm actually a small business owner; plumber, who writes; wrote a book called 'My Diane' and I write poetry as well...not sure if you've written out a business plan, but that is a great first step, how you've framed this out sounds appealing, great vision just needs to be financed and organized, organizing is huge...love the vision here...
Good food and music a way to share my thoughts, opinions, poetry, etc, im there. Oh and only if there is no snapping of the fingers for some reason that cheesy gesture bothers me. I love your idea, an time you can facilitate art its a winner go for it.
